On our visit to Yosemite National Park in May, 2008 we stopped along side the Merced River down in the valley to enjoy a picnic lunch. May is a great time to visit because the crowds have yet to arrive and you still have remnants of winter in the higher elevations. This is one of my all time favorite shots.
