This bald eagle was one half of a nesting pair of eagles along the Kokosing River in rural Knox County, Ohio. They hatched a pair of young eaglets in early 2009. After several attempts I was finally able to capture few nice images as he flew directly overhead.

In May, 2008 we visited Yosemite National Park, so much beauty, so much inspiration. This stand of Sequoias in the Mariposa Grove near the south end of the park were truly impressive, it was like they were reaching to the heavens praising God.
Don’t be naive. Some people will impugn your motives, others will smear your reputation just because you believe in me. Don’t be upset when they haul you before the civil authorities. Without knowing it, they’ve done you and me a favor, given you a platform for preaching the kingdom news! And don’t worry about what you’ll say or how you’ll say it. The right words will be there; the Spirit of your Father will supply the words.

This was taken at the 50th Anniversary of the WACO Fly-In at the Wynkoop Airport in Mount Vernon, Ohio in June of 2009. It was a beautiful week with over 70 bi-planes making the trip from all over the country. The Wynkoop airstrip takes you back in time as the runways are not paved, just mowed grass between the cornfields… very cool. A few of the pilots were offering flights but I didn’t take any of them up on the offer, but I think I just might do that this year. The Fly-In takes place during the month of June each year. Comment: Our fears are silenced knowing that wherever God sends us, we are assured that He will also be with us.
